No..I don't think more than one child is necessary. It depends on how many children the couple/person may want. I only have one child...and he is doing fine...so I think it is up to the parents...

I think that it depends on the person. My sister has one child and would not have it any other way. She wants to spoil her and wants to give all her attention to the one child. I have 2 children and would not want it to be any other way. I think that it is great where they have playmates. So I think that it depends on the person whether they want more than one child or not.

I have chosen to restrict to one child only . Financials is the main reason behind my decision so far . Your response has warned me against too much attachment or indulgence to the single child . Thanks for that . I wish you a very happy new year .
