I gave a junk yard dog a bath today!

Hi all, I gave the local junk yard dog a bath. He lives at a salvage yard, about a mile from where I live. He showed up on my front step this afternoon wanting a snack. I brought him in, gave him a snack then a bath. He was filthy. First I used Dawn Blue dishsoap, then an oatmeal dog shampoo for his skin. Then I set him in a drying cage with a heated blower on him. He love that part... it is nice and warm. Then I brushed him, and not having any blue ribbon, put a large pink ribbon around his neck. While I was washing and drying him, I put his filthy collar in the washing machine and washed it. When both dog and collar were dry, I took him back to the salvage yard. No one there believed that I could wash him, that I am still alive, and that the dog was actually clean. They told me that they would bring him to me every month for a bath and pay me to bathe him. Nothing like a clean, pampered Junkyard dog. Joe
