=) floppy drive is still important for me. but i don't use is as often. booting up system require a floppy although you can use cdrom. normally i rather choose floppy. some old system doesn't have cdrom so i have to deal with it through floppy drive. To store files, definitely use a flash drive or cd-r. it's unwise to store inside a floppy since it won't last that long.

I have used floppy drives 3 years before for storing data for my official work. But with the advent of cd's and Dvd's i am using this currently for storing files.Even i have a floppy drive in my cpu but never i have used nor i have any floppy disk with me.

No. I use pen drive to carry and transfer data. Burn CD's to store back up data.
