Is it true that IPhone is being banned from China?

There is a news item stating that IPhone is banned from beig sold to Chian. Are you using an IPhone? I think this is still part of the trade war between the USA and China. It is getting bigger affecting a wide spectrum. What do you think?

I guess it has something to do with US banning the use of Huawei and many western allies. I think there are several countries who are claiming that these brand of a phone is embedded with a spying chip that is not safe to use.

@Barjeru I think even Japan will start boycotting Huawei phones because of that and I think US is taking hold an executive from that company as suspected by US government as doing espionage.

It's true that Apple phones are banned in China, but there's no enforcement. Many retailers are still buying them openly! I don't use Apple phones, Huawei is already great, and I don't want to choose other brands!
