British Prime Minister survives !

Theresa May has survived a confidence vote in her leadership by her political party in the U.K, 200 votes to 114. The rebel MP's called it as a protest to the Brexit deal she has presented to them for the big vote to finally leave Europe. If they voted for it on Tuesday then the U.K would be ready to leave Europe on March 30th. But the vote was cancelled at the last by May as she knew she would lose it, triggering the vote in her confidence. The sad thing is about all this are the ambitious politicians who want to be the next Prime Minister used the big vote on Tuesday to try and force the Prime Minister out just to get her job, rather than help the country deal with Brexit., selfishly risking the stability of the country. The opposition Labor party are also talking down any deal so they can force an election. The ruling Conservative party simply want her to get Brexit through and then the new leader can take over with a clean slate. Its pretty despicable behavior at the time of crisis. My solution is a second public vote on whether we should leave the European Union or not. People are changing their minds as evidence surfaces on just how tough it is going to be to leave. The threshold should be 55% this time, not 50% like the last vote, and either way. If either side dont hit 55% we revert to the original vote of 52/48 and leave with the current offered deal. This way puts the emphasis of the the losing vote to make their case to overturn Brexit. Leavers are reticent for a second vote, they say because the nation has already spoken, we think because they fear losing the vote. The postponed vote on the deal must be held before 21st of January..What is for sure this Brexit thing is exhausting us all, especially our determined Prime Minster.

If you are asked if you want a tea or a coffee then must people would be able to choose the right answer. However with the Brexit question some people didn't turn up to vote. Others weren't sure to vote yes or no. At this time people are understanding more about the yes and no choices. I would welcome a second public vote. It is amazing Tereasa May is still the prime minister.

I would agree Maxy. It was a rather blaze vote for remainers. A lot of people thought it would be remain so voted remain.

@thedevilinme I decided to vote remain because I am keen on the way we can easily travel without visas and long time passing through borders. We visited a tropical looking garden in France and we walked over to Italy for lunch. You see an open border like that is easy and pleasant for everyone. We went to Belarus and we had to get visas. Going through the border took a long time and was much bother.

@maximax8 When free movement of workers starts hitting the middle class we will see a carnage of attitude.
