I am getting married in 282 days (not that I am counting), we are only having a small wedding just a simple ceremony and a disco basically. I am not worried about having fancy food or a big dress, or expensive decorations but I am stressing about the music.
I am not a fan of typical cheesy wedding music the list I have so far includes:
Fleetwood Mac
Motley Crue
The Cranberries
David Bowie
Limp Bizkit
Food Fighters
Bon Jovi
The Beutiful South among many others so quite eclectic, but I am really stuck on two points:
What song should I walk down the Isle to?
What should I have as my first dance?
Let me know what you had, what would you have now?

If you are having a church wedding, you should use traditional music, such as the Mendelsohn wedding march or something by Handel. The music at the end of my own wedding was Vidor's Toccata - but check first that the organist is up to playing it!

As we are not getting married in a church we are not allowed any religious music, there won't be an organ so I think having a recording of such music would just sound weak. It is really difficult!

You have a good choice there. Bon Jovi would be a good to start with and use Fleetwood Mac also as first dance. I got married so long ago and I am not sure what music we had. It would have been in Hebrew and we have different ceremonies here. Congrats on getting married.
