I found a matt when I was washing Maggie my long haired cat so now I have to shave it off with hair clippers.

Does she let you do it? My cats do not like to be groomed. I have never bathed them. Just clipping their nails are an ordeal. Brushing the long haired is okay, but the short haired fusses.

Ive been washing them since they were kittens. They dont like it but they know it has to be done. Infact I have to wash the long haired soon.

That is one job I would never want. I tried to wash a cat once and he clawed me and cried and hissed the whole time. Washing is bad enough, but to have to shave one must be horrible.
