Does the quantity of words in your discussion really matter?

Does the quantity of words in your discussion really matter or is it the quality or the ease with it conveys your thoughts? As far as I am concerned I would go discussions which are precise and concise where few words tell the story.

@TheHorse, yes sometimes one-liners can also convey heartfelt feelings.

What matters is that there is something to DISCUSS and that is possible with only a few words if the content is right.
