It's nearly one o clock, now, but I actually got back from my errands at around noon. I took a Lyft this morning to the Health Center to pick up my meds fro the pharmacy, then when I was done with that I went to the bus stop right outside and went to the bank to cash/deposit a check. After that I went to the pet store in the same shopping center and managed to get a new collar for Angel along with a dog tag, which I had engraved there in the store. Either right after or right before I went to the pet store, I stopped and got a bracelet for my brother's girlfriend. Coming out, I ran into a couple of neighbors to insisted on driving me over to Safeway (the grocery store) just in the other shopping center across the street. I have been doing quite a bit of walking lately, so the walk over there would have been nothing, so I took them up on it. At Safeway I did a bit of grocery shopping--actually more than I needed to--but it will all get eaten/used eventually. The thing of it was, I only brought one shopping bag, and with all the stuff I bought it was pretty heavy--plus I had a big jug of laundry detergent that I carried with the opposite hand. By the time I got out of the grocery store it was raining, so between that and the heavy bag I decided to stay and catch the bus. I only had to wait for about ten minutes for it to come. Then I got off at a cross street and walked the half a block home. It was raining pretty good, but thankfully I had brought my rain coat. I made it home, and as I said, before lunch time. Since it's raining, I wonder what the weather is like for my brother, who is coming home from Tahoe (if I have the place he went right). Anyway, my morning was pretty productive--except that I couldn't get the gift cards for my nephews because I didn't have enough cash and they wouldn't take a check for gift cards (I tend to leave credit cards at home). I'm sure that my brother will say something about their getting tons of other gifts anyway, but...
