To Attend or Not

One of my classmates in high school called me up recently that the batch shirts to be worn for tomorrow’s Grand Alumni Homecoming is ready for pick up. Though, I feel better this time compared to yesterday, I still feel weak. I think I would miss our activities tomorrow since it’s a whole day activity that would start at 6 in the morning with mass and followed by a motorcade. It’s just once in a year activity and if I could manage to attend even just the evening program, I would. I still have hope fellow mylotters, right? Photo Credit: pixabay.com

I certainly would if I can manage but if not, I would just stay at home and view some updates in my FB.

Oh yes, you can just attend the lunch and the evening program. It's so hot or rainy to be in the motorcade. Besides, it is so early to wake up before 6 am.

God is really great all the time. I made it. I just sleep and early and took medication and the next morning is better. I joined the motorcade and skipped the activities followed and took a rest and then back at night.

First you have to feel good before attending. Right?

Yes, I won't force myself to attend if I feel that I should be going.

I doubt you'd make it if you're still sick to this day. If you go there and still sick you might get them infected through the new year. But that depends on you, better rest the whole day if you want to make it and take medication.

Our illness hinder us from attending once a year activities sometimes. Hopefully you'll be better soon.

That sounds good. We used to go as well but with passing years have stopped going because of incongruity of our schedules.

Yes, schedules and illness would hinder us from attending important events but there's always next time.
