Rebel is a new series that I have been following. It is a great investigative series that surrounds injustice among police officers and it also brings out how racism causes injustice to be done on black people. Rebel is a black lady police who was once in the military. One night, as she was on patrol with his white partner, they received a call that there was a gun man in the place they were patrolling. As they approached the gunman, she asked him to put the gun down and his hands up and the gunman did that. On seeing that the gunman was black, Rebel's partner(who is white) continued pointing the gun at him ready to shoot. Looking closer Rebel realised that the gunman was her younger brother. Rebel warned her partner not to shoot, that the gunman was her brother(whom he knows well) but he did not listen and so she had to shoot him on the knee. Minutes later, other police officers arrived and started shooting at the gunman(Rebel's brother) even though he was not armed. Mystery surrounds this series. This is because it is not usual for police officers to shoot someone who has given up his gun and placed it far away from his reach. You should definitely watch this.
