Chris and I went to see Mary Poppins Returns. This is a sequel to the original movie. We had seen the original one. Both movies are based on book by P.L. Travers. It has Emily Blunt, Lin-Manuel Miranda, Ben Whishaw, Emily Mortimer, Joel Dawson, Meryl Streep, Dick Van Dyke, and Angela Lansbury in it. In this movie, Mary Poppins comes back to save Michael Banks from losing the family home. She also looks after Michael's kids. They have some adventures and Michael rediscovers that everything that happened when he was a kid really did happen. I loved this movie. Chris loved this movie too. It was almost as good as the original. I haven't read the books yet. I decided to put the audiobook on hold.
