World Health Organisation, WHO, has recently published a report in which it states that the recent finding suggests that the sugar consumption has skyrocketed during last few decades. As per Recommended Dietary Allowance (RDA), we are not supposed to consume more than 8.5 teaspoons of sugar in any form. But WHO has found that on an average an adult consumes about 20 teaspoons of sugar. You can blame it on high consumption of sodas, pastries, fast food, etc. This has led to significant increase in obesity, diabetes and heart disease among the general public.

Your health will be good if you avoid sugar completely from your diet. Is it possible?

@Sreekala It is not possible to completely eliminate sugar from our diet, our brains won't function effectively if we completely eliminate sugar from our diet. But we need to restrict it to no more tha 8.5 spoons per day.
