Dates are rich sources of magnesium and potassium - two nutrients which help control blood pressure and keep it in healthy range. Besides dates are also good source of dietary fibre, which helps in controlling cholesterol levels, thus helping you keep a healthy heart. Besides this, dates are also beneficial for those suffering from constipation, arthritis, asthma, and they also help in building immunity against cold and flu. Do you eat dates regularly. I prefer to eat it boiled in milk.

Here the dried dates are more common and usually we use them to make the soup. The fresh dates are like fruits and snacks for us. But I seldom will have it.

@skysnap dates contain two nutients which are very useful in controlling blood pressure - Magnesium and Potassium. On the other hand, sodium, found in table salt i.e. sodium chloride is notorious for causing high blood pressure.
