Katharine Hepburn is a legendary stage and screen actress. Many consider her the greatest actress in Hollywood history and she was a major star for decades beginning in the 1930s. Hepburn received 12 Academy Award nominations winning four Oscars for “Mourning Glory,” “Guess Who’s Coming to Dinner?,” “The Lion in Winter” and “On Golden Pond.” Christi Haydon is almost virtually unknown. Some know her as an actress appearing on “Star Trek: The Next Generation.” The interesting aspect about “What Would Katharine Hepburn Say” is being written and produced for Haydon by Ron and Russell Mael of the Sparks. This is not a Sparks song nor recorded by them. Haydon served as drummer for the Sparks for awhile. There is a recent video of Russell singing what he calls an obscure song. The Sparks are an underrated terrific eclectic band that never made the big time in the US though huge in Europe and their hometown of Los Angeles. The list of big name performers expressing admiration and influence by the Sparks is long. The song is somewhat hard to understand as you cannot clearly hear all the lyrics. The music is a throwback to 80s synthpop. Spencer Tracy is mentioned and any film buff will get that. Katharine Hepburn died in 2003 so it is possible she heard this song. “What Would Katharine Hepburn Say” about it?
Better quality of sound and video of this wonderful song. No copyright infringement intended...just for fun and making no money from this.

Katherine Hepburn would be flattered, then cry when she heard mention of Spence Tracy.
