So, it feels like I haven’t had a long honest post in awhile and to be honest, I haven’t really had the energy. There’s always those thoughts where I think why bother writing about my life because there is no one out there that would really care to read about it. It’s nothing special and then I also think that some of those that do read it will have negative comments. So, I guess this post is really just for me and for those that enjoy reading what I write. ~ * ~ * ~ * ~ * ~ * ~ * ~ * ~ * ~ * ~ * ~ * ~ * ~ * ~ * ~ * ~ * ~ * ~ * ~ * ~ * ~ * ~ * ~ * ~ * ~ * ~ * ~ * ~ * ~ NEW YEARS: Wasn’t anything special. I actually slept through the “ball drop” that no one in my family actually watched. ~ * ~ * ~ * ~ * ~ * ~ * ~ * ~ * ~ * ~ * ~ * ~ * ~ * ~ * ~ * ~ * ~ * ~ * ~ * ~ * ~ * ~ * ~ * ~ * ~ * ~ * ~ * ~ * ~ THURSDAY NIGHT DINNER: This past week it was my turn to cook at my sister’s house and I made Chicken Lasagna. I needed milk and while my sister had some in her fridge, she told my daughter that it was spoiled and not to use it. When I asked about it, she told me that she never said it was spoiled but that it was reserved for her kid. So, I made the comment that the next time I cook, she needs to contribute to it or at the very least help cook dinner and clean up afterwards. While I cooked, my oldest nephew had a nurse there. She had been out due to hand surgery and was back getting refreshed but just seemed like all she wanted to do was socialize. I’m cutting onions and cooking chicken but had to stop because no one could hear that my nephew needed suction. (Being on a ventilator, he can’t cough up boogers on his own). He is also bedridden and needs to use a urinal. My nephew peed his pants because no one would help him while I was in the bathroom myself. So, I’m hurrying to get dinner in the oven so it will be done on time and taking care of my nephew while my sister and his nurse are 3 FEET away from him but can’t seem to hear him when he needs something. So, I had a panic attack in my sister’s downstairs bathroom after dinner was in the oven. I then blamed my red eyes on the onions. ~ * ~ * ~ * ~ * ~ * ~ * ~ * ~ * ~ * ~ * ~ * ~ * ~ * ~ * ~ * ~ * ~ * ~ * ~ * ~ * ~ * ~ * ~ * ~ * ~ * ~ * ~ * ~ * ~ FRIDAY: Not a good day by any means. I found out that I wouldn’t be getting my pay as my supervisor didn’t submit my timesheet on time. So now I have to wait two weeks for that paycheck and the one for this pay period. It will be a nice payday on the 18th but it seems a long time away for me. When I got to my sisters, the first thing I was asked was if I had left them any leftovers of the dinner I paid for and prepared last night. I said no and they shared a look between themselves. I then reminded my sister that our mom was going to come out and she acted like she didn’t know. Then her bf gave me an attitude as he asked why would our mom come out and not tell them when she was coming to their house. I informed him that I told Heidi last night and had even shown her the texts from our mom but she said if I had told her, she wasn’t paying attention or forgot. So I told them I would text her and tell her not to come out since they wanted to be pissy about it. Which led into a full blown argument between me and my sister. She told me that she refuses to be disrespected in her own house and I told her that I wasn’t going let her disrespect me anymore whether I’m in her house or not. Then her bf wanted to get into the middle of it because he didn’t want to see the two of us arguing. And I told both of them that if they want respect they have to earn it. And if they want me to watch the kids so they can go to another concert, they better watch their tones because I have no problem canceling on them last minute to teach them a lesson. **Another thing that makes me mad about the two of them is that the last month they went to a concert, they had to take a limo with cost them over $800 for the night BEFORE the tickets and going out to dinner. Now they’re planning on doing it all over again in May, yet they’re only going to spend $150 on a bowling party for my two nephews and they’re not even going to buy them anything. “The party is their gift.” I’m sorry but I don’t think they have their priorities in the right order but that’s just me.** ~ * ~ * ~ * ~ * ~ * ~ * ~ * ~ * ~ * ~ * ~ * ~ * ~ * ~ * ~ * ~ * ~ * ~ * ~ * ~ * ~ * ~ * ~ * ~ * ~ * ~ * ~ * ~ * ~ SATURDAY: My mom was going to come out and visit but because of how my sister and her bf reacted, she chose not to. Instead me, my daughter and uncle went shopping with her and helped her get new pants for work. She found a few pairs that were okay but they were $20 each. A big chunk of change if you need 3 - 4 pairs so I went looking. Within 30 minutes, I found pants that she loved. They fit her great and they were only $7.50 each. Shopping with my mom was so fun that while it didn’t make me feel better about my entire week, it did make me forget about it for awhile. After shopping, I headed to my sisters as saturday is the day I do the overnight with my nephew. Well, while I’m looking at his chart and reading the notes from the previous nurse and my sister keeps asking me if I’m okay or what’s wrong. Mind you, I have resting b**ch face. I can look like there’s something wrong when there isn’t and not realize it. I told her nothing was wrong and she responded with “if there was, would you tell me?” And I’m sure it made her mad but I answered honestly and told her no. Rest of the night was about normal. Her yelling at her youngest, sleeping, eating, crying because no one was paying attention to her while me and the kids were coloring at the table. ~ * ~ * ~ * ~ * ~ * ~ * ~ * ~ * ~ * ~ * ~ * ~ * ~ * ~ * ~ * ~ * ~ * ~ * ~ * ~ * ~ * ~ * ~ * ~ * ~ * ~ * ~ * ~ * ~ SUNDAY: Normal day. I got maybe 3 hours of sleep and as soon as my nephew woke up, I did all of his morning routine with him then started cleaning up his room. My sister and youngest nephew came downstairs stomping their feet and already yelling at each other. My sister kept yelling at my nephew because he refused to eat what she made for dinner last night because it had onions in it. Yet he’s never had a problem with anything I make and I always have onion in just about everything I cook. She then sent him upstairs to clean his room and told him if she comes up after an hour and it still looked like crap then she was going to start throwing all of his action figures in the trash. Insert eye roll here. ~ * ~ * ~ * ~ * ~ * ~ * ~ * ~ * ~ * ~ * ~ * ~ * ~ * ~ * ~ * ~ * ~ * ~ * ~ * ~ * ~ * ~ * ~ * ~ * ~ * ~ * ~ * ~ * ~ That was my week. I hope all of yours was better. So far this week seems to be looking good for me although I don’t want to really jinx it.

It seems that your sister is nasty to everyone.

She is and she blames how her life is on other people. And the most irritating thing is that when she sees someone else getting attention, she cries. Not because anything is bothering her or anything is wrong, she just wants the attention and even her bf will tell her to knock it off when she does that.

@CountryGirl31 Your sister sounds a lot like my oldest daughter. We have gone through it with her over the last few years. She gets all indignant when she gets caught when she tries to pull one over us. She owes her sister at least 2,000 and I doubt if it will ever get paid back unless Aarika makes some drastic changes in her life.

@CountryGirl31 I won't give her money anymore unless she works for it. And none til the job is done. I have been down that road with her too many times.

@jeanena Alot of people don't like it when you put your foot down and stop lending them money. I've been able to put alot more away in my vacation fund this year than I was able to when I kept lending my sister money.

I hope so too. So far it is. Things are starting to look up but I have a feeling that the other shoe is going to drop soon. Always does.

I try to. I've been trying to spend at least one hour a day writing because my hope is to finish one of my stories and get it published by next year.
