It wasn't too bad--we had thirteen kids at the most at one time in the preschool room. The toddler room had one new child--I think at most they had five or six today. I closed up the center, and my boss had errands to run and said while she couldn't drive me home, she could get me the four blocks or so down to the bus terminal. So, I took her up on it. About three minutes after she dropped me off, the bus showed up. I went by bus as far as the grocery store stop, then walked the rest of the way home. If I had waited for the next bus and gone the route it went, then walked the rest of the way home, it would have taken longer. So I got home, and I guess Angel forgave me for leaving her, because when I got to the door I could hear her crying and either scratching at or jumping on the door. I got in, took her for a walk, then when we got home I put the garbage cans out, got the mail, came in the house and fed Angel, then took a much needed shower. After that I turned on the computer and went to listen to a message that was on the answering machine. It was the "advocate", wishing me a happy new year and wanting to know if I'd completed any of the "homework" she'd given me the last time I saw her. To be honest, I've been having such a hard time with the first thing she asked me to do, I don't even remember what the other things were. I still need to go and find some dinner, and then I am going to do some Bible study and take it easy--well, except for making a lunch for tomorrow. I hope that you all have had a great day/evening/etc. in your part of myLot land !
