Emotional Day

I am having an emotional day today and not sure why. No it's not that time of the month either. In fact, that "stuff" hasn't effected me in years. Today, started off like most of mine do. Take my uncle to work at 2:30am, go home and clean until I feel tired which is usually about 5am. Go to bed til 6:45am, wake up my daughter and take her to school by 7:15. Back to bed for a couple hours before I have to go to my sisters where my daughter gets dropped off by the bus at 3pm. While I was at my sisters today, I text my dad and asked him what he would like for his birthday as it's in 10 days. His wife told me that he needed long johns but didn't tell me if he wanted the sets or just the shirt or just the pants. Then we got on the topic of driving during winter because we were supposed to get a storm where we get 6-12 inches of snow. Still may end up getting it but so far it looks like it's going to pass us by. My dad is the one that taught me how to drive in the snow and his knowledge has been INVALUABLE to me. There's been times where I spun out or began to slide while stopping and MANY other things. I made a comment to my dad that I hoped it didn't snow when I took my uncle to work and he said, "That would suck but you are a good driver. You can handle it." I don't know why but that made me a little teary eyed. Another thing that made me a little emotional today was that my mom reached out to me and asked me to go to breakfast with her on Friday. For some, you may be wondering why this would make me emotional while others that have read my other posts fully understand. I have a strained relationship with my mom due to her husband. He has banned me from going to their place, their work and has told my mom that she can't have anything to do with me so she can only see us when he is working. I guess that's it for this post. I hope everyone is well and keeping warm whereever you are located!

I seem to have them at least once a week. 2018 was a rough year for me. I lost two cats within 4 months of each other due to another adults negligence. (He was dropping his blood pressure pills and not picking them up)

@LovingMyBabies Thank you. We lost one in August and then we lost his daughter in Nov. It has been hard but I keep most of that to myself. My sister had two of her indoor/outdoor cats go missing over a year ago and she doesnt care. I don't understand how someone couldn't care about an animal they've had since it was 2 months old.

I think my sister is rubbing off on me. She always has emotional days but that's mostly for attention. As for me, I keep everything bottled up and then when I'm by myself I let it out. If I tell my sister what's bothering me, her "ME TOO but mines worse" disease flares up. Everyone else has their own things so I don't like to bother any of them. That's why I'm so thankful for MyLot. :)
