When I saw this word, I knew I'd heard it before. I wasn't sure of its definition though. To me, it's not a pleasant-sounding word. But that might help me remember its meaning: a word that sounds bad to describe a person who behaves badly! Are any of you familiar with this word? Do you know an evil person whom you'd describe as having moral turpitude?

I could say an amusing word. When I saw it and tried to pronounce it I got all tongue-tied. I know what got me confused turpitude sounds close to turpentine lol

I have been familiar with this one, usually preceded by the word "moral." Sounds like the guy in the Oval Office to me.
