Yes, it's true as we were not paid our salary for the second half of December of 2018 and it is supposed to be pay day again next week for the First half of January. This is very sad because we work for a Government Entity. What worries us most is the remittance of our loan payments to our bank creditors which were deducted from our salaries. These banks are very strict on due dates and they impose penalties. This indeed is a very sad scenario, maybe some people should be held liable.

I really hope you and your co-workers get your back pay soon. Why has your pay been held back, do you know?

There is no cash available and money intended for salary which is given by the National Government was spent on other items because the local collection is very low. Very sad the money they will pay us for the back pay in 2018 will be coming from the money intended for January 2019.

@ScribbledAdNauseum that is how I see it. I used to manage the department for two years and that never happened.

My next month's bills are waiting for it. I hope we get paid before the month ends. My brother takes care of our daily expenses now since we live in the same house. Very inconvenient because of the uncertainty when we will be getting our salary.

@id_peace Right now we are in a state of uncertainty. Actually I already heard it over the radio this morning. Somebody complained to media.
