Along with my favorite rock time songs I’m also counting down my ten favorite country songs that have “time” in the title. Here’s today’s country song. #4: A Wound Time Can’t Erase - Stonewall Jackson One of Stonewall’s big hits, this was a top three song on the country charts in 1962. It’s long been one of my all-time favorite songs from Jackson, too. I mention this every time I bring this terrific classic country music singer (and sweet, sweet gentleman) up: yes, that’s his real name. His career began with a prayer: he literally showed up in Nashville, looking to become a country singer. He didn’t have to “become” one. He is one.
