I cut the cord in January 2019 because I got rid of Cox cable.Cox cable was way to high.I think it is just a saying to say cut the cord because I didn't cut any cables.I did unhook my cox boxes and return them to cox solutions store.I use expedite tv for $15 monthly and get a lot of channels.

With expedite tv you get a lot of sports.I am a huge sports fan.Get a lot of fox sports and pac 12 networks, nhl center ice,and nba league pass.I can't do without sports either but I can do without the price.

I did that back in February of 2018 and I don't regret it at all! Everything I watched before is available on Hulu, Netflix, or Amazon Prime. I'm on prime as a co-member with my son and also share is Hulu. My ex gave me his Roku box with Netflix on it so I have free TV. I was paying $50 a month for very basic channels.
I dealt with Cox for a year back in 2013 and will never, ever do business with them again. I'd do without before I would deal with Cox!
And if I ever run out of things to watch--which is very doubtful!--I can go to the library and borrow a whole season's worth of nearly any show I want. I think the "cable" companies are on the way out unless they can think of something really innovative.
