GUARDIAN ANGEL.. A truth or an imaginary being to make us feel protected..

When I was in hostel, doing my grads, I had some of my friends talking about guardian angels. As a teenager, it was interesting to know about new things and believe that there is someone who is always watching you and is there for you.
You feel loved and protected, even though you are far from your loved ones, as you feel there is some one with you..
Some of my friends also said that guardian angles are our ancestors who are not alive any more but they are still with us guiding us.. I don't know what the full truth is or if it is a popular belief in some communities.. I liked the idea a lot..
Do you believe in guardian angels. If yes, according to you who are they and who is your angel?

@Sheali This is another thing I have no actual proof of but I don't not believe in them either. I have mixed feelings about Angels. Either they are real and watch over us or they are a made up being to make us feel less alone and safe.
But I'm personally not sure. I think it would be awesome to have an Angel watching over us but if it was real, then none of us would be getting hurt or dying so....I don't know. I don't know how an Angel would work.

@Sheali Yeah I know. And I'm cool with that. I think people should believe whatever they want to believe. As long as it's not hurting anybody then I don't care what people believe in. The thought of Angels watching over us is nice.

I do believe in God. I do believe in angels and that they were created by God. They are spirit beings created that way. People die in all kinds of accidents and so cannot say if the angels actually protect anyone.

Considering some of the things I've gotten up to in my life and some of the near misses I've had if I actually have a guardian angel then she's been working overtime for a long time!
