Virginia woman wins $100,000 dollars and a new car playing the lottery

Even though the partial government shutdown has affected many employees of the Federal government, one Virginia woman who served in the United Stares Air Force for more than 13 years of service, purchased a "Ford Expedition Plus $100K " lottery ticket which won the jackpot on the drawing of December 4, 2018.
Carrie Walls whose husband is currently on furlough due to the government shutdown did not want his name to be published had plans to take her relatives to Disney World in Orlando Florida before she won the grand prize and a new Ford Expedition that a local auto dealer gave her as part of her winning the lottery.
It just goes to show you that everything in the world is not darker than the media likes to cram down our throats.

I hope her name is different than her husband's or he will be getting as many calls as she will be getting form 'old' friends and 'relatives'! :O)

That does happen to a lot of lottery winners who blow their winnings by giving away their money to strangers who are down of their luck.
