A visit to a sick friend

I just came home at around 7:00 o'clock in the evening from a trip across the bay. I was in Kapatagan, Lanao del Norte which is far from our place. It is already located in another province. I live in Misamis Occidental.
I went there to visit a sick friend. She is suffering from papillary carcinoma. She had undergone radiation early last year and I guess she has not gone back to the hospital for her follow up check up because of financial difficulties. I pitied her so much. I bought some groceries for her. She was so happy that we visited her.
Do you think all sick people like to be visited?

i would like to be visited if i'm very, very sick. does she live alone?

@hereandthere We talk every night since I brought her a sim pack. Besides we also engage in video calls and we can see each other. I observe that she's really very happy whenever we talk. However, I am worried with what she just confided to me about her daughter. She's worried because her daughter has already a boyfriend and she sometimes go to her bf's home which is far from their house. She's worried that her daughter might get pregnant and will marry and she can not attend to her wedding.
