There were no students today, as it is Saturday and we mainly have meetings or club activities going on. We decided to eat some cakes and samosas outside, in the sun and not in the canteen. While I was eating the samosas, I kept my cake on a plate beside me. A crow came from no where and took my butter scotch cake and flew.. It could have said a 'Thank you'.. Has any thing silly like this happened ever with you?

Dogs are very cute.. half the time, they don't need to take.. they just make puppy eyes and I get hypnotized and give them the cake..

@Sheali lol so true!! Well not really when it comes to cake. I don't feed my dog cakes or anything but meat yeah. I can't help but give him some chicken or steak that I am eating. He looks so cute watching me and I cave in lol and give him some.

haha It will come and tell you thanks later. Here in this place I hardly sees any crows. But I remember, in my childhood, my mother's place is surrounded with crows and I faced such problems that time.

@Sheali Yes, the problem is, as a child I felt pain on my hands when they snatched the food from my hand.

Once I was in a seaside resort in England. People could buy snacks on the promenade, for example French fries. The seagulls came swooping down and stole one out of the bags.

@Sheali How can you say that? Do you know crow speech? Maybe the crow has croaked a polite 'thank you' but you didn't understand it.

@Sheali Here Danna does not mean a piece of grain. Here dana mean any eatable thing. Meaning of this saying is that we can eat which is in our luck.

It was not daanaa it was cake.. not a traditionally Indian food.. An Indian saying should be applicable only to Indian food..
