Respect for elders

Do you really think that just because someone is older to you they deserve your respect. I've seen people older to my age behaving like complete sadists. But just because they're elders no one can't deny to give respect to them which they don't give in return. Have you ever been in this situation?

Respect every one irrespective of their age.. But respect doesn't mean approving their wrong behavior
