I just came across a site called PicturePunches, where you can upload memes, and earn whenever someone checks on your memes. They need not be original, but should not be copyrighted, and you need to provide original caption to it. You need to have 250 credits to post a meme, which you need to earn by watching other memes on this site. Have you tried it?

@hillhjill Yes I just joined and uploaded few memes. I doubt whether you will like the site, because most of the memes are pretty raunchy.

@florelway, You can join this site PicturePunches. they will give you some free credits upon joining, which you can use to upload memes. You require 250 credits to upload one meme, and these credits can only be earned by watching memes uploaded by other members. You will earn depending upon the pageviews your memes receive.

I haven't tried 9gag. For me PicturePunches is more about monetising my memes. But I will surely check 9gag.
