We have had a busy morning!! We started with -12 degree temperatures! That is the 'before' windchill number. Then, we had to go pick up a 1/2 pig that we had ordered from our local meat cutter. That is now put away and in the freezer for the months ahead! It came out to about $3.29 a pound for organically raised and processed pork! We spend extra on our pork and beef to be sure it's raised in a way we think will provide us quality taste and safety. Now, we are preparing for going to the doctor to have our annual physicals. We tried to get in earlier hoping people had canceled due to the cold, but no luck, so we will keep our regular appointments for later in the afternoon. How has your morning started?
