I never thought of that but from what i have seen some have super long posts. Atleast just enough to fit in everything you need to say.

@Jeanne_KaSaHa @Ladanger I think that 500 words should be the limit. The average myLotter isn't keen on very long texts.

There is no effective limit on how long a post may be (I believe that there is a limit but it is several thousand words and I think that I've only seen someone exceed it once or twice in the 12 years I've been here). There is also no limit on the number of posts you may make per day. Please be sure to read and follow the Guidelines (see "Help" in the menu beneath your username). You will also find it well worth reading the Frequently Asked Questions page.

Yeah I already read the FAQ section. It help me a lot to know what can and what can not do in this website. Thank you anyway.

mylot doesn't have a character or word limit in our discussions, responses and comments. but those that use a phone seem to prefer to write and read short posts. with long posts, paragraph helps make it easy to read. please also take time to read the community guidelines and the faq to know what's allowed and not allowed here. for example, some make the mistake of only posting a quote or a poll/survey or a status post. here's the link

@Jeanne_KaSaHa if you hover your mouse over your username on the upper left corner, the drop-down menu will show up and you'll see 'Help' near the bottom (if you want to access it again next time to verify something) mylot also doesn't have a limit on how many discussions you can submit. just be considerate by spacing it out, not one after another so other discussions can be seen, and that there's variety in the topics.

Never saw anything about a max limit. There are some very long posts here, but I don't think people will post novels though . Maybe if they split them in episodes . So, write as much as you want, just be careful not to exaggerate .

@Jeanne_KaSaHa yup . That's why I said you shouldn't exaggerate, keep things simple. Anyway, welcome to Mylot and good luck to you!
