Dexlutter one area

I managed between last night and this morning to declutter the one small area that the kids use in the kitchen/second living area for play. I still need to tidy it up a little more and get a shelve for in there so I can out some of those big toys up there and open the floor a little bit more. Looks a lot better then it did last night. Small little victory.

Most of my nephew’s miniature toys are everywhere in my apartment. He brings one in every time he comes over. He doesn’t like them arranged or organized though, which is I guess normal for a young kid.

I let him put it somewhere before he leaves my place, of course I have to remind him every time cause kids you know, but they're just piled up in one place and I prefer them arranged by color or by size.

Yes kids don’t really care about that. But it does have to be instilled. Remember it’s your house so he had to fallow your rules. If you don’t want them out have him pick them up and put them in a special pin or something. My kids get messy with toys but I force them to clean it up or it goes in the trash or donated.

@MGjhaud yeah kids they tend to be forget for or just in a hurry. My basement looks like kid boom went off. My kids have bins for there toys and they each have a cabinet it’s s but if holds almost all of there stuff on the main level. The older two are a little bit better at r because they do so at school. Everything in class is organized.

mine is my drawer, always decluttering and organizing after a few days... tadaaaaaaan... back to normal

I wish it was like that to kids keep me busy and being organize has never been my thing even as a kid. I need some stuff to do so which cost money and right now the money I have is for food and bills so I’ll have to wait.

My kitchen is my problem. I cook and clean for 2 roommates. As-soon-as I get the room organized, the room becomes yet another disaster.

Our main floor gets bad. 3 kids be only one is home now. It’s where the kids are the most. I still need to organize other parts of the house but they don’t get as bad as the main floor. This small play area is one of the spots. The kitchen is always rough. I have a pot lid coming soon where it’ll hold my for me.
