I Think That Manitoba Is Missing Us!

I thought the past few days were carbon copies of what we experienced in Manitoba last year!! Actually I did look it up and they are actually warmer than we are at the moment! Definitely didn't expect that. The weather network said that we might get 6 inches of snow and they weren't wrong so right after breakfast I went out to tackle the drifts. I started with the bottom of the driveway to clear away everything the snowplow pushed in the night before and the minute (and I'm not kidding) I got it all cleared away from last night, guess who shows up! He pushed in another 3 feet of the stuff. I'm not kidding about that either. We live right where he has to turn the corner and he brings it all into our driveway. I think that we just might need another snowblower if this keeps up! And where was hubby?? In Manitoba on business. Good thing he's planning on retiring. How much shoveling have you had to do so far in 2019??

Actually not much shoveling. Because it's so warm here. No , I'm kidding. I live in an apartment and the shoveling I do for my parents is reduced because now they have a service come and shovel

I'm beginning to think about the coming years. It's okay now, but there will be a time when this is going to be too much for us!!

I have an older friend in Michigan with lots of snow. He has to pay someone to remove his snow.

@JWMILLER Ah yes, snow removal can be a challenge when one is younger. It is nice for little bit older folks to have a service that will do it

You've been busy clearing away the snow. I live in an apartment complex and maintenance does the snow blowing. They were busy with it the last few days.

@Hate2Iron It has for me. I love this winter so far, well not the wind chills, but definitely the snow. Tell me, is it your fault then that we will have 47 F degrees on Monday and my snow will melt?

We haven't had hardly any snow here on the east coast. Lots of rain and ice but not much snow.

We have had very little snow, with just a bit of frozen rain, but did not lose electricity.
