Traffic Jam in Jakarta

I really hate when it rains in the capital when I go home from work because it means the streets will be very jammed. The traffic in Jakarta hours is bad enough, but coupled with rain, the traffic jam will be extraordinary because it will usually flood. A trip that usually takes 1 hour and a half can be 3 hours just because of a traffic jam. That is why I often use public transportation such as trains but if there is a flood, the train becomes an obstacle because all the trips are hampered. AHHH ... It's really tiring the world of adults. I really love Jakarta but I do hate the traffic. How about your place? Do rain and traffic hours are bad in your city too? What do you think about this?
