Have you tried any work at home scams or lagit businesses?

I have been looking throughout the internet for work at home jobs but seem to only come across scams. I have been burned once so know when not to attempt something but know that they are out there. Can anyone share their on line work experiances and maybe give some of us looking a direction to go?
