I Didn't Want To...But Now I'm Glad

I met my husband almost 20 years ago. One of the big things we always differed on even back then was our purchasing of vehicles. I like brand new vehicles. They don't have to be the best of the best, but a nice car or small SUV has always appealed to me over something used. In our marriage, I've had one brand new car that lasted me about 6 years and was totaled in an accident that wasn't my fault. Otherwise, I didn't want to, but I've always driven used vehicles. They are always nice and we put a lot of miles on them, but it's always a discussion we haven't agreed on over the years. Certainly, it's not worth a constant argument, but we have debated. Anyway, I put at least 75 miles a day on my vehicles for work and that's just coming and going, so yes, in short it makes some sense. Slowly over the years, I've realized it is really nice not to have a car payment and has allowed us to do other things with our money such as travel and have a nice home. So, I probably won't tell him...but I'm kinda glad he's always held strong on the used vehicle concept. What do you drive?
