Reversal of fortune.

Remember that Christian doctrine, that sin occurs in thoughts, words, and deeds? Now, here's my confession, I am guilty. My thoughts couldn't be controlled, and there are occasions my thoughts thread into the not so good. Sigh. Okay, I went out for a while, to buy food at the grocery. Up the street, headlights were glaring but the car was not moving. When I came near the car, I stopped to tell the driver about the lights, but the car was empty. Just then, a man came out of the gates, and I told him about the lights left on. He was angry right away and said he was just opening the gate so he could park inside. Obviously, it was a lie, for the lights were on for a long time. Then he said: what is worse is I was causing traffic. There was no traffic. So I answered back: what is worse is your anger. Assessing what happened, I was finding a reason why he was so angry at once. Everybody needs a reminder sometimes. Road rules must be observed. Later on, my daughter told me that she saw that man at the grocery, first in line at the handicapped lane. Wow, I thought, the very ingredient for a reversal of fortune. Not that I was wishing for it, for he is my neighbor after all, but meanness does not please God at all. So there goes my confession.

I can understand why yoir thoughts were that they were. He does not sound like a nice man. We encounter those people at times and it is hard not to have bad thoughts.

Considering we live in the same street, in a gated village, insolence is unacceptable. I believe that if one is already rich, he has no right to be ill-mannered.
