No heat Thursday

Thursday morning when we woke up at 4:45am to get my husband out the door to the surgical center for his wrist I noticed that our heat turn turn off. The panel had a black screen which meant the furnace was off. We had a heat/ac pump. We don’t know what cause it. My step father in law and grandfather in law came over and fiddle with it and got it back on by 4pm. Now it makes a sounds but it works and it’s been keeping the house warm. With it being off I did slowly turn up the heat.

It was indeed if go as low as 5 degress outside with another 5 with windshield which made the low below zero and the high for the day was 23 making it feel more like 18 degrees

@WiseGhots I wore like 4 tops, and 2 pair of pants to keep warm it was cold.

We had this happen last winter, it got mighty cold in here! There was one part(I'm not sure which one) that had to be replaced, it cost us $100.

I think it was a fuse because that only coast little bit of money and went to get a new one put it in at first it wouldn’t start and they pushed in and down a little in the box and the heater tuned on. Not sure if that is the real fix or not.

@kobesbuddy yeah! That’s why we tried to find someone who could easily do it with out paying for a heating and cooling person unless we have fix it. It makes a noise now but I can live with that as long as it’s running.

Yes we have had now two good day of heat and it hasn’t turned back off. Thanks goodness!

That is horrible when you need heat and it does not come out. I am so glad it got fixed.

Yeah it was pretty cold and we got it to work again before the kids came home
