So thankful to see them..

Many years ago, I babysat an amazing couple of kids! They were beautiful and fun! They turned into beautiful adults. Their parents were always very good to me and I really enjoyed the time I spent in their home which was a lot! I grew up and went away to school....then got married and a job, but always kept them in my heart. ALWAYS! This past year, one of the siblings passed away! I was heartbroken for them all. However, I simply couldn't get away to go to any services and that made me feel badly too! I did send a card with some genuine thoughts about them as a family and as people, but since then, they've entered my mind a lot. Today, by chance, I saw the other sibling and mom in a store! Immediate hugs and tears! I was so very thankful to see them and to let them know I think of them often! I even told them I still knew their number!! I hate that bad things happen to really, really good people! That being said, I am glad they are close and have each other because going through something like this alone...I can't begin to imagine.
