What should I do to be as calm as I can when I am going to the dentist?

Tomorrow I have to go to the dentist. If I am feeling anxious there or if I have a panic attack the dentist won't receive me. She said that I have to be calm. I don't know what to do. I try to think positive, but I am afraid that I will have a panic attack there. This is not a problem for me, but the dentist would be panicked and she would refuse to help me. Do you have any tips or ideas? I don't know how to prepare myself.

Why do you feel that way? Don't think of anything, and put the pressure in your hands. Everytime I go to the Dentist, I just always hold my other hand and put all the pressure there, No matter what the dentist do to my teeth, I was able to relax my mouth and don't even move.

@dya80dya I hope you will be fine. I have phobia, and what I do, little by little I get nearer to objects that makes my head feel bigger, and makes my heart stop, and my knees feels like jelly. I know we can do better each day, just always look be positive and hopeful. This is really tough, but we can all face it and overcome our stituation. God bless us increasing wisdom and courage, to be able to us to enjoy life more. :)

Just grit your teeth and try thinking of something else.
