Have you ever experimented with making your own booze?

One of my junior engineer came up with an idea today - try to make our own booze on board our ship. There is a strict no alcohol policy which is being followed on board, and no liquor bottles are allowed to be carried on board. The junior engineer boiled jaggery in water, added honey to it, besides pieces of ginger, cinnamon and black pepper to give it medicinal properties. He finally added baker's yeast to it for fermentation, poured the stuff into a pearlpet bottle, with a tiny hole in the cap, and has kept it in the engine room. Let us see what turns up of it!
