The Ground Hog Doesn't Predict and Early Spring....

I think I've officially lost this argument because even the news and talk show hosts have fallen into the abyss. That dark underworld place where the joke of Ground Hog Day has been completely lost. Legend has it that Puxatawny Phil (and countless local rodents) comes out of his hole and looks around. The outcome is a joke, because whether he sees his shadow or not, there is 6 more weeks until the last day of Winter. Somewhere over the last decade or so, instead of "If he sees his shadow, 6 more weeks of Winter; if he doesn't his shadow, 6 more weeks until Spring" had somehow given way to "if he sees his shadow, it means and early Spring". This is wrong, it has always been wrong, it will always be wrong... but this is a lost battle because almost no one believes me. But then again, it's not really that important anyway,

For many years I have heard that if there are many ants in summer, there will be a harsh winter. Now I tend to believe that there are more ants if you don“t clean the terrace every day

Put some sugar in your neighbor's terrace to make them prepare for a harsh winter. ;D
