contact numbers

Do you maintain a diary of contact numbers?

My mom maintains a diary where she writes down the mobile numbers of all friends, relatives and other important people. Even if I tell her to just save it in her mobile, she says she prefers to write them down as well. I guess, in rare cases it can be helpful, like when some one looses his mobile. What do you think about maintaining a diary of contact numbers?

I don't. I've got like 3 contact numbers listed in my phone.

I used to maintain it. but these days only focused on mobile contacts.

I still have an old phone book like that, but haven't used it in a long time. Your mom is probably accustomed to using that system.

She maintains it and also saves numbers in her mobile.. She says just in case something happens to the mobile..

@Sheali I do have a diary to keep numbers and addresses in and I like having it as a back up.
