Cold in Cali

Today was the first day I had ice on my windshield. The last time I encountered this it was 34 years ago as a teen living in Illinois. It took all about 10 minutes to defrost but it felt nostalgic. I was told to spray rubbing alcohol on the frost to get rid of it, does that really work? I was almost late today getting to work, and most likely this dilemma will happen again. Anyone else have any pointers beside the good ole scraper???

so far i havent had to go out early enough to notice a large buildup of ice on my windshield. ill have to ask MORI.
