I respect God and I pray when I feel like praying. I don't have a fixed time to pray. I try to do nice things to others because I feel happy if someone becomes happy because of me. I am not a God fearing person. I don't know why?
I don't intentionally hurt others, not because I am scared, but because that is who I am.

Yes I am.
I try to do good to others as well, because what comes around goes around.

A God-fearing person is one who loves God but the second commandment is to love our neighbour as ourselves. They go hand in hand. I do my best!

@Sheali Yes, God is a God of love and the fear is one of respect of not wanting to disappoint or disobey Him. It is a joy and not a burden to do God's will.

Absolutely I am. I pray all the time, He is my Father and we have a relationship. =) I know how amazing He is! I love when God chooses me to bless someone, not for my glory but for His that they might choose Him too! =) I try to treat others as I want to be treated.

For me it is a relation between me and God.. just like my relation with my parents..
I respect but I am not scared.. I can't respect someone if I am scared of him/her...
I feel you don't praise your parents all the time.. It's a bond that we share and it is the closest bond possible among humans..
Accordingly there is a relation between God and us.. why pray to please him.. I pray when I feel like praying.. like you sometimes thank your parents verbally..

@Sheali I don't pray to please God, I love speaking to my Father just like I love speaking to my Earthly parents. It's not something I have to do, I want to! =)
Proverbs 3:7-Be not wise in your own eyes, fear the Lord and depart from evil.
Fearing God is respecting Him and doing His commandments, with His strength-not our own.

@Sheali I wouldn't say I fear God as I am still on the fence on whether he is even real or not but I know as a person, I do whatever I can to help people and I'm not out to cause any harm to anyone. Knowing that I am a good person is what I care about.

Who do you mean when you say respect to God or am I not a God-fearing person? Who do you mean when you ask if we fear God? Who or what is God for you? I ask these questions, perhaps impertinent, because GOD, YHVH GOD, the Father of Jesus Christ, made known in the Bible, wants us to fear him in the sense that we give him respect and veneration. YHVH GOD wants our respect, not that we are afraid of him. But that fear of GOD must be based on His Will and not on the thought of you, him, her or me. If we fear GOD, then we love him, we believe in his Word and we obey him as He wants and doing what he wants.

I would consider myself a God fearing person and always put God first in anything I do. And I never am afraid to Pray for someone when they are asking for Prayer and believing for something great.
