The Good Samaritan Medical Center in West Palm Beach has started a therapy dog program. Therapy dogs in that hospital visit the patients twice a week. At this time there are only seven volunteers and seven dogs at this time to make the lives of the patients feel better since the presence of man's best friend inside a hospital is the best medicine any patient would like to have during a tough medical challenge. Due to the success of the therapy dog program, there is room for growth in that hospital for more therapy dogs and volunteers.

I wish that all hospitals would adopt this idea.
