Missing 8 year old child found alive and well in Cleveland County N C

A story from Cleveland County which is located in North Carolina that has a happy ending even though if eight year old Tristen Wayne Woodrum would have decided to go home and face the music when the report from the authorities claims that Tristen got in trouble in school.
Since Tristen feared the wrath of his parents if they found out what kind of trouble he got into at school on Friday, Tristen decided not to stay away from his home after school ended which is about one mile from home.
The Cleveland County Sheriff's Office deputies were able to find Tristen safe and sound around midnight Saturday safe and sound.
Tristen parents were concerned that due to the cold weather, Tristen could have suffered a health problem like a head cold or worse a kidnapping.

Glad they found him, sounds more like a case of being ashamed for his actions than anything. Kids that are not right in the head usually do not worry about getting in trouble per say. What I have learned through the years.

That is true since fear of the anger of anyone relatives leads to anxiety problems as an adult like myself.

That is true since if he had been kidnapped, no telling if he would have been harmed by a madman.

Glad they found him. Now it's time for the parents to tell Tristan that it is better to face the music and that they will get through it all together instead of wandering off and then getting into more trouble and worrying them.
