Baby boom!

I found this while decluttering my kitchen. My kids kind of found it interesting. They questioned me about this baby boom. I told them it plays the radio over the airway and I use batteries to play it. To them this is so weird because I could just use my phone to play music or the tv. I told them when I was little we didn’t have that so I had this or a radio that I listened to music till we had cds.
Then my daughter said this “‘mommy dose it play baby music? Because it’s a baby boom box right?”
Omg so cute but I explain no it just plays the regular radio that’s it.

It is a boom box but it’s called a baby boom box. It’s one that you would find in a small places.

Lol.. I know! She was trying to understand how it was working and if it played little music because it was little. I’m sure it could pick up a station they played kids music if it had one. But I told her you use the tuner and go through till you found something that you like or if an emergency happens we can use it to hear news or information.

That they do. I left it out for them so I can turn tnon when they want it on. Would be good on snow days and stuff.

I dont know but it might be. My grandfather had 2 when I was like 9 so he gave me because I liked it so much.

@Janet357 my grandfather likes collecting little toy cars. I was surprised last year when we visited with him and my grandmother that they let the kids play with there collection toys. When I was little they never let us do that.

@ShyBear88 my father also likes buying old models of anything. Goodness, the house looks like a stockroom. Hahhaha
