It's strange when I was under 18 my mom told me what to do and when to do it as a parent should. Then when I became an adult the government (social services, IRS, laws, etc) told me what to do all the time. My husband never ordered me around! But he passed away after 7 and a half years of marriage I am partly disabled and I am back to having social services, laws and now added social security telling me what to do. And 2 of my 3 adult children now tell me what I can do or even say I am 57 when am I going to get to be me?

To be fully free and independent is our wish but tough to practice. I have managed that to a great extent. I hope you too get there soon despite the odds - siva

I guess they just showing their loving concern. However, sometimes it is not good to keep on asking someone what to do.

I hate it when someone ask me what to do or demand me of what I will do or not. That is one of the big dislikes for myself .
