Unbelievable.

Sometimes I have to shake my head and wonder when I see news headlines. This is one of those times.
I noticed a name popped up on my music obituary information gathering locale, so I did a little investigation. It turns out that this 24-year-old Nashville local musician was murdered by five children.
And folks, I mean CHILDREN.
The five suspects are 12 years old, 13 years old, 14 years old, 15 years old, and 16 years old.
They killed the musician when he refused to hand over his car keys during a robbery.
Go back and read that again. We have five children -- none of whom are old enough to drive -- facing murder charges for trying to steal a car.
Unbelievable.
Wish this were "fake news," but it's sadly very, very real:

sadly, we have our share of those, too.
it makes you wonder if it's their first time. for some, once is enough to make them stop. for others, once is actually the beginning.

The new reality of our world. Children aren't really children anymore.
