Look, Luke, Look!

From my egotistical point of view, my mentally inferior neighbors have managed to portray me as the eccentric one, merely because I adhere to the truth which, when I tell them, make them angry with me.
Thus, the dozen years of lack of amiability in my own vicinity.
Till this friendly month of February, when little Luke has taken his first toddler steps. Ha ha ha.
Just last week, I approached Luke and took him from his nanny Irish, young and pretty. I carried Luke inside my home grounds and introduced him to my doggy. I saw the smile on his face as he perceived the pacified face of my canine.
Then I carried Luke to my gardenia flowers, and as I inhaled the sweet scent, I told Luke to do the same. He loved it.
I pointed to the lowly periwinkle flowers, and as Luke touched one, the flower fell. Luke picked it up and tried to attach the fallen flower to the stem. To my delight!.
This morning, as I watered my garden, Luke watched from across the street. So I shifted the hose towards him, and he marveled at the water.
To my surprise, he made the first toddler steps towards the water. So I kept on saying "Look, Luke, look."
Now I have a genuine neighbor.

Sounds like you made a really good friend and Luke will enjoy spending time with you now.

I am looking forward to teaching Luke the fundamentals: Arithmetic, English and Filipino, Biology, and Character Education. I will pray he either becomes a priest or a pilot, or both.
Gosh, Luke made me truly happy.
